...for Class, while Graeme (2), Michael (3), Daniel and Scott were on the scoresheet for the Crooks. In Class’ second
game against Thistle it was Jack (4), Leon, Rhys and Justin who bagged their seven goals, while Thistle’s scorers were
Dave (3) and Rich (2). Not a great finish for Thistle but at least it was good news to hear that their ever-present player,
Steve is back on track to a full recover for the next league campaign after suffering a nasty head injury last week.
Crookham Five also had to come back and play a second game to finish their league campaign, but sadly for them their
second game was just a step too far as they had to come back and face Division 2 Championship Winners Real Madras in the
final game of the evening. At the halfway period it was only 4-1 to Madras but the legs certainly went in the second
period for Crooks as Madras went on the rampage to rack up a further 11 goals. Top scorer of the night was Andy (7), Daz
(4), Johnny and James for Madras, while Daniel and Scott netted for Crooks. In the only Division 1 game of the evening it
was another close encounter as Indoor Milan came back from 5-4 down at the interval to beat Goals Aloud 7-5. Another good
game between these two sides who have entertained all this season. As proved in both teams’ goal average, they weren’t far
off pushing for league honours even if their points total was a little adrift. Doug (2), Karl (2) and Chris netted for
the Aloud boys while Ben (3), Sam (2) and Josh scored the goals for Milan.
