Without doubt 1-2-1 coaching gives any sports player, at whatever age, the added benefit of a coach to focus on their individual requirements.
When a player wants to improve his control, passing, heading, bending, dribbling or crossing of a football where does he begin?
Well, it would certainly help. As the saying goes, “Practice makes Perfect”. Maybe. But sometimes the problem lies deeper than that?
Like a golfer on his backswing the slightest movement off-line can send the ball into the rough stuff. And that’s no different to a player who has made an overlapping run down the flank, receives his pass and when trying to cross the ball sends the ball into row Z behind the goal.
As a manager or parent, you’ve recognised a passing problem with a player. Great!
But do you know how to overcome it? Do you hope that his or her passing improves?
There maybe 1, 2 or a number of reasons why this is happening and it may need that fresh pair of experienced eyes to recognise and solve the problem.
You want to improve your game! Superb. But don’t know where to turn.
